Easy Strawberry Sourdough Waffles:
Oh yeah! Easy Strawberry Sourdough Waffles! These are so delicious and perfect for a summer breakfast! With summer right around the corner, you’ll need some fresh and delightful meals! These waffles check all the boxes!

But do you know what makes these better? Chocolate! Yes, chocolate is a perfect addition to these strawberry waffles! I have this Chocolate Chip Sourdough Waffle recipe which is so delicious too!
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup starter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (I like to use my homemade version!)
- 1/2 cup einkorn flour
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.5 cup milk
- 1-1 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
- Chocolate chips, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
Start by beating the eggs till fluffy. Add the vanilla and milk, and stir till combined.

Sift the dry ingredients and whisk till all combined
Heat up your waffle griddle and cook.
Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes:
- I wouldn’t add more than 1 ½ cups of strawberries. Strawberries have quite a bit of water in them and that water adds to the batter.
- If the batter is a little soupy, add 1 Tbsp at a time till thick enough.
- If you do add chocolate chips, you may want to add less strawberries so that the griddle can cook the waffles properly.
- If you don’t have einkorn flour, you can use all AP flour
