Easy Peppermint Cookie Skillet

Easy Peppermint Cookie Skillet

This easy cookie skillet combines some of my favorite things: peppermint patties and cookies. It’s a delicious cookie with a twist of peppermint. This is no harder than a normal chocolate chip cookie. If you like either of these things, this is a must-try!

Easy Cookie Skillet

If you really just want a cookie skillet without the peppermint patties, just leave them out! Thought it is tastier with the peppermint patties.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (8Tbsp) of butter
  • 4 Tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 5-6 york peppermint patties

Ninja Foodie Baking Instructions:

In a bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix till all combined. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the patties.

Grease an 8-inch pan, and take off 5-6 peppermint patties wrappers. Spread half of the cookie dough in the pan, then add the patties. Cover them with the rest of the dough.

Preheat your ninja food for 5 minutes at 325 degrees.

Stick your pan in and set the timer to 20 minutes. If you like it gooey, bake for 20-21 minutes; if you like it more baked, do 22-23 minutes.

Oven Baking Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and grease an 8-inch cake pan; set aside. Unwrap 5-6 peppermint patties and set aside.

In a bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix till all combined. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the patties.

Spread half of the cookie dough in the pan, then add the patties. Cover them with the rest of the dough.

Stick your pan in and set the timer to 20 minutes. If you like it gooey, bake for 20-21 minutes; if you like it more baked, do 22-23 minutes.

Notes:

  • I use the ninja foodie to bake this, but you can also use the oven.
  • You can either serve it warm or let it cool down.
  • If you have a cast iron skillet that is small enough, you can use that
  • Do you want a thicker cookie? Use a small pan; try a 6-inch.

About Me

Welcome to Becky’s Kitchen Corner! I am so happy to see that you are here today. My name is Rebekah, but around here I’m known as Becky. I love to be in the kitchen, cooking and baking up a storm. Though, I don’t like cleaning up the storm as much, ha!

I’m from Pittsburgh and now living in a much sunnier state of North Carolina. I am the youngest of 8 kids and so growing up, I had lots of people to eat up my baked goodies.

In the daytime, I work as a nanny for my sister and brother-in-law to care for my adorable, silly nephew.
