Easy Strawberry Cotton Candy Ice Cream

Easy Strawberry Cotton Candy Ice cream

This Easy Strawberry Cotton Candy Ice cream is an excellent recipe for a hot summer day! This ice cream tastes like cotton candy, but still tastes like strawberries. It’s kinda strange, but a good strange.

If you like strawberry ice cream, you’ll like this. If you like cotton candy, you’ll like this. But if you like both, you’ll love this recipe!

Easy Strawberry Ice cream

This ice cream has a nice smooth texture, but the strawberries in it give it a nice bite.

Here we go!

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • ⅞ cup cane sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ⅞ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries, slightly mushed up

Instructions:

Whisk the egg and sugar together until thick and cream-colored in a bowl. Add the cream, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until all combined.

Set up your ice cream maker and pour the milk mixture into the bowl. Let it churn for a few minutes, and add the strawberries a few at a time when it starts to thicken a little.

Once the mixture is all churned, pour the ice cream into a freezer-safe container.

Take a nice scoop, take a picture, then gobble it up! It’ll melt pretty quickly!

Enjoy!

Notes:

If you want to round up to 1 cup of sugar, you can, but this ice cream is already pretty sweet!

About Me

Welcome to Becky’s Kitchen Corner! I am so happy to see that you are here today. My name is Rebekah, but around here I’m known as Becky. I love to be in the kitchen, cooking and baking up a storm. Though, I don’t like cleaning up the storm as much, ha!

I’m from Pittsburgh and now living in a much sunnier state of North Carolina. I am the youngest of 8 kids and so growing up, I had lots of people to eat up my baked goodies.

In the daytime, I work as a nanny for my sister and brother-in-law to care for my adorable, silly nephew.
