Air Fried Purple Sweet Potato Fries

Air Fried Purple Sweet Potato Fries

These Air Fried Purple Sweet Potato Fries are a perfect side for a meal! They’re crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.

Now, these aren’t like your traditional fries, these are slightly chewy. If you’ve ever had orange sweet potato fries, it’s similar. But these are even a little more so! Don’t let that scare you away from trying these though.

The seasonings with these fries are simple but perfect. Salty but a little zing from the garlic.

Another great reason to make these is that they’re so easy and practically mess free! Takes maybe 20 minutes and most of that time is letting the air fryer do its magic.

Enough talking, now onto the recipe!

Ingredients:

  •  One large purple sweet potato
  • Avocado Oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Paprika

Instructions

Start by washing and peeling your purple potato.

Cut it in half, then half again. Flip a piece over and cut it into thin slices. Turning over again, cut into strips.

Half again

Turn over again, cut into strips

Plop into a bowl, put all of the ingredients in and then mix.

Get your air fryer out with the basket. Set the temperature to 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

Put the potatoes in the basket and push start. If after 10 minutes they need more time, add 5 and they should be good.

Let cool for a few minutes and dip in your favorite dips!

Enjoy!

I love the purple! I have to try this. I have done it with the orange ones.

About Me

Welcome to Becky’s Kitchen Corner! I am so happy to see that you are here today. My name is Rebekah, but around here I’m known as Becky. I love to be in the kitchen, cooking and baking up a storm. Though, I don’t like cleaning up the storm as much, ha!

I’m from Pittsburgh and now living in a much sunnier state of North Carolina. I am the youngest of 8 kids and so growing up, I had lots of people to eat up my baked goodies.

In the daytime, I work as a nanny for my sister and brother-in-law to care for my adorable, silly nephew.
