Easy Chocolate Chip Ice cream
Chocolate chip ice cream is a classic choice that will always be a hit! This recipe is super easy and only takes five ingredients! This would be perfect with a side of a brownie or cookie. The base is vanilla, so it’s lighter.
I used my rum vanilla extract in this recipe, but you can use whatever you have! I don’t think my extract was quite ready because it didn’t taste much like vanilla…Ha. When testing this recipe, I tried putting almond extract in it, thinking chocolate and almond go together well. But I don’t think they go well in ice cream.
So here is the recipe, and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- ⅓ cup sugar + 1 Tbsp
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chip
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, beat the egg and sugar until pale in color. Add the milk, heavy cream, and extract and whisk it together.
Set up your ice cream maker and pour the milk mixture into the ice cream maker bowl. Let the ice cream maker do its magic.
Add more chocolate chips if you wish, and enjoy!

You should try making no churn ice cream!
I’ll put it on my list! 🙂
