The BEST lemon Scones

The BEST lemon Scones

Today, I’m sharing a recipe for the best lemon scones! I’ve always thought scones to be dry and crumbly, but these are not! They’re soft, filled with lovely lemon flavor, and just simply delicious! The scone itself is delectable, then add the zingy lemon glaze; it’s heavenly!

These lemon scones are also perfect for adding berries too. Raspberries and blueberries with lemon are my personal favorites.

The recipe has wonderful information if you’re new to baking or have questions about the process. It’s a very straightforward and simple recipe.

This recipe comes from My Baking Addictions, and she has other phenomenal recipes!

Ingredients:

  • Sugar
  • Lemon
  • Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Butter
  • Sour Cream
  • Egg
  • Vanilla

Recipe Readability:

This is a super easy recipe to read and to follow. It also has a lot of helpful information and helpful suggestions.

Ease of Baking:

Baking these lemon scones is super easy! The hardest part is cutting out the triangles and having them all the same size. Some of mine did not even look like triangles. But I don’t think that affected how they baked.

Flavor:

The flavor was on point! A lovely lemon flavor in every bite. I forgot to add the raspberries, so I added one on top after drizzling the glaze.

Overall:

10/10 on these wonderfully delicious lemon scones! Super easy and has amazing flavor. The texture is amazing and not what I’d expect. I’ll for sure make them again!

About Me

Welcome to Becky’s Kitchen Corner! I am so happy to see that you are here today. My name is Rebekah, but around here I’m known as Becky. I love to be in the kitchen, cooking and baking up a storm. Though, I don’t like cleaning up the storm as much, ha!

I’m from Pittsburgh and now living in a much sunnier state of North Carolina. I am the youngest of 8 kids and so growing up, I had lots of people to eat up my baked goodies.

In the daytime, I work as a nanny for my sister and brother-in-law to care for my adorable, silly nephew.
