Tips on How to Freeze Strawberries:

Freezing strawberries are a great way to preserve them! But dealing with frozen ones can be annoying if they aren’t packed right. Down below, I have some tips so that when you go make a smoothie, you won’t be on the struggle bus!

1. Cutting the berries and laying them flat. Ensuring that the berries are flat and not all piled on will help when you go and use them. But it will also help with freezer space; by placing something flat vs. chunky.

2. Deciding a specific purpose. How to cut them will determine how you can freeze them best. For smoothies, I like to cut them into thin slices. For muffins, I like to cut them in chunks. Whatever way that is, again, make sure they lay flat.

3. After cutting them, try drying the berries off a bit; that way, there is less frost in the bag after freezer time.

Enjoy your smoothie!

About Me

Welcome to Becky’s Kitchen Corner! I am so happy to see that you are here today. My name is Rebekah, but around here I’m known as Becky. I love to be in the kitchen, cooking and baking up a storm. Though, I don’t like cleaning up the storm as much, ha!

I’m from Pittsburgh and now living in a much sunnier state of North Carolina. I am the youngest of 8 kids and so growing up, I had lots of people to eat up my baked goodies.

In the daytime, I work as a nanny for my sister and brother-in-law to care for my adorable, silly nephew.
